The new sports, cultural and event facility in Narbonne must be part of its environment and mark the eastern entrance to the city, in addition to the exposition park, the “Stade d'Honneur des Sports et de l’Amitié” stadium and Museum of Roman culture, under construction. The multimodal hall is the first of this array of public infrastructures at the entrance of the city of Narbonne and must continue the great sports and cultural dynamic of the city.
Inside, the space is adjustable, making it possible to host indoor sports competitions (volleyball, boxing, judo, fencing), concerts and economic forums. The maximum capacity is 4,950 seated / standing places.
One of the four stands retracts completely to 80 cm in thickness, which is fairly standard. In concert version, the hall is modular, with a pit or not, depending on the gauge or the type of concert. The stage is set up on a shelf.
