As part of a scheme to reconquer the banks of the Saint-Denis Canal and open up the Cité des Francs-Moisins housing block, the footbridge constitutes both an urban and landscape project.
The technical requirements among which the navigation gauge and the gauge of the towpath led to a curved and continuous crossing with a simple constructive solution and a fast implementation.
The crossing consists of an isostatic beam with a span of 43 meters, which rests on sliding supports on top of cantilevered concrete piers.
A milestone in the history of the canal, the footbridge is part of a constructive tradition and constitutes a mark in the urban landscape to which it easily gives a new dimension. .
