PS0 Footbridge

An asymmetrical pedestrian bridge which allows orientation in relation to the city, in the circular ring road system.

The footbridge is embedded into the “fixed country side abutment” - to land on the other side, towards the “articulated city side abutment”.

The footbridge is made of oxy-cut steel sheets and shaped by cold bending. The double curvature and the variation of inertia shaped by the path of the forces materialize the static stress diagram in the structure.
