The Anyang Bridge symbolizes the link with the river through the very large arch symbolically marking the presence of the city on the Hai He River. It is an arc of 270 m span that suspends a line of deck developing inland on a horizontal which, from abutment to abutment, anchors over a length of 700 m long. This arc varies according to the moments, the journeys, the seasons. The arc, the arches, are ordered along a large curve split in the form of “two butterfly wings” whose central body takes up the line of the deck hangers.

This deck itself is split to let the light penetrate into its heart, the opening onto the river. The arcs shape a virtual volume which forms two concave leaves oriented towards the banks of the deck open to the river.

The structure of the bridge is made up of the two side decks suspended from the large arches. Pedestrians and cars slide inside this virtual volume of suspended elements. To complete the device of the main structure oriented by the arches towards the sky, we completed the line of the deck with two concrete access structures forming two covered public spaces delimited and ordered by the support structure of the decks.
